E’ expected between December and January the first announcement of the Cross-Border Cooperation Programme in the Mediterranean ENI CBC MED on the following investment priorities:
- Development of enterprises and SMEs:
1.1: support innovative start-ups and young companies, particularly those run by women and young; protection of intellectual property and marketing;
1.2: strengthen and support network, cluster, consortia and euro-Mediterranean chains in traditional sectors (agro-food, tourism, textile, clothing, etc.) and non-traditional (innovative ideas for sustainable urban development, eco-housing, sustainable technologies related to water management, renewable energies, creative industry, etc.)
1.3: encouraging sustainable tourism and diversification actions.
- Support for Education, search, development and technological innovation:
2.1: support the transfer and the commercialization of new technologies, strengthening the link between research, industry and other private sector actors;
2.2: support SMEs in research and innovation, including through clusters.
- Promoting social inclusion and combating poverty:
3.1: provide skills usable in the labor market by young people and women;
3.2: support stakeholders social and solidarity, Also improving the capabilities and cooperation with the public authorities.
- Environmental Protection, adaptation and mitigation to / climate change:
4.1: support innovative and technological solutions to improve efficiency in water management and encourage the use of new procurement methods unconventional;
4.2: reduce the production of waste in the cities, promote recycling and improve their exploitation, especially compared to the organic;
4.3: supporting the energy upgrading of buildings, specifically those public;
4.4: Integrated coastal zone management - incorporating ecosystem approaches in local development plans.
They can present the public and private bodies established nominations in the following countries: Cipro, Lebanon, Malta, Palestine and in some regions of the following countries: Egypt, Francia, Greece, Jordan, Portugal, Spain, Tunisia. For Italy the following regions are eligible: Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Lazio, Liguria, Puglia, Sardinia, Sicily, Tuscany.
